You’ll get all the training, support and backup from a friendly and experienced team.
Want to join the team? Become a dog walker? We are always looking for responsible people to work with us in and around the London and Essex. You will need to be dotty about animals, have experience in dealing with them, and have good references. We will show you all the ropes, provide training and back up and insure you to carry out the work.
Trustworthiness, bags of common sense, ability to follow client’s instructions to the letter, and experience with animals are the key criteria. It may only be ad hoc, part time or sometimes full time depending on what you want to take on. If you do fulfil the criteria and are interested, please get in touch.
Dog walking – groups and solo
Nearly all the dog walking happens during the day Monday – Friday. So would suit someone working from home with or with flexible hours, or retired and fit.
We are always looking for dog boarders to join the team, where a dog or two would stay with you while the owners are away. You’d need to be around during the day. So would suit someone working in schools who could carry out this work during school holidays. Or a freelancer working from home, or fit retired person.
You may have a dog, or this may be the perfect way to have the company of dogs some of the time without the full time commitment. Dog boarding only is more flexible and requires less of a full time commitment than the other services.
If you provide dog boarding, you may also be interested in providing doggy day care services. You either collect dogs in the morning or they can be dropped to you. They get walked, once or twice during the day, hang out and play and snooze with you. Then dropped off by you or picked up by the owners in the evening.
This is more of a commitment as it is year round provision though as with all our services. We work in teams so there is cover if you’re away. But this is great service to supplement income if you already work from home and dovetails nicely.
Cat visits are carried out in the morning or evening and at weekends.
Puppies are unable to go on group walks and so we provide one to one visits with lengthening walks and play. Until the dog is ready to be introduced to group walks or full doggy day care which is fantastic for their socialisation.
So, if you want to join the team, if you have the time and inclination please apply here or us or give us a quick call on 020 3743 9247 for an informal chat. We look forward to hearing from you.
