“I never had to use a dogwalking service before, but due to a change in job, I suddenly had to find a reliable dogwalking service- quick! The most difficult thing for me was to be able to entrust my dog to a complete stranger. I got a list from my local vet, phoned a few and had two come over. The first woman seemed friendly enough, but Molly did not like her, so that went out the window. Then in walked Layla. Molly went nuts. Sorted!
Ever since then we have used Happy Hounds and I can highly recommend them. Layla sometimes goes above and beyond what is expected of her and for that we will be forever grateful. Molly even managed to lose a couple of pounds, which for a food oriented Spaniel is no mean feat…

“Just to say I am so happy I found Happy Hounds – my dog Elsie has been cared for with daily walks for the past 5 years, and HH has also looked after my 2 cats when I’ve been away on holiday (even leaving a pint of milk in the fridge on my return – for me I hope, not the cats?). “I cannot recommend Cathy and her team at Happy Hounds highly enough. I had regular dog walking for about five years in which my nervous and rather unsociable German Shepherd became a happy and sociable dog around other dogs. Not only was my dog looked after and loved daily I knew my house would always be left secure, properly locked and alarmed too. I had some pretty specific instructions regarding dog flaps and alarms settings and they were always complied with to the T. In July 2010 I started working from home and was therefore able to walk the dog most of the time myself but if I had to go out for a long spell I could call up Happy Hounds and 10 times out of 10 they always managed to fit Kira in for walks and feed even at weekends and in the evening. Last year I got another puppy and again, Cath and team excelled themselves with their flexibility and an individual and personal service that many companies could only dream about providing.
I moved out of London recently and miss not having a company like Happy Hounds to rely on however Kira and Ozzy still catch up with their friends every now and again and have been to stay with Cathy a couple of times. They go there happily and come home not traumatised, skinny or ill.”
