With Epping on the doorstep there are many lovely places to walk dogs in Chingford. We want your dog to have the most enjoyable experience possible so all our walks are in places where your dog can be walked safely on or off the lead and the locations are regularly changed to provide variety. Here at Happy hounds we have been providing fun and energetic dog walks in Walthamstow for over 12 years. We have a great team of friendly and experienced dog walkers who are fully trained and CRB checked. Currently we have Kerri, Layla and Grace who have all worked with us for some time and have a great experiences each day with all of their dogs.

Work and social commitments mean that we have to leave our beloved pooches at home, sometimes for long periods of time. This can lead not only to boredom for your dog but also separation anxiety, barking and possibly destructive behaviour.

Puppy care in Walthamstow

If you’re in E17, just got a puppy, but aren’t around during the day then we’re here to provide the support you need. One of our very experienced pet carers in the East London and Walthamstow area can come and visit your puppy during the day to help make puppy care a doddle. This is a tricky period for all new owners and we can help take away the stress, making life easier for both you and your new puppy.

Before your puppy is able to go out for walks, we can come and visit for an hour during the middle of the day to ensure his or her day is nicely balanced. This hour can be utlised to really help your puppy’s learning and provide stimulation and exercise.

What’s included in the puppy care?

• Assistance in toilet training
• Lunchime feeding
• Basic training of key commands based on your existing training but covering STAY, SIT, COME and FETCH
• Cuddles and play time
• Cleaning up any accidents that may have occurred.

What do you do after my puppy’s had all it’s vaccinations?

Once your Walthamstow puppy’s had all their vaccinations and is able to go out, then we can start incorporating short walks into the visit. This is really great at helping with toilet trainingk, get’s your puppy used to the big outside world and gets them used to walking on the lead.

After this we can start getting your puppy used to meeting other dogs by introducing them to some of the other dogs we walk. We do this by taking them out for a section of the group dog walk. This is really great for socialiasation and they just love it. And this will ensure your puppy quickly learns how to behave and interact with other dogs.

As your puppy grows and is able to manage bigger walks, s/he can then be incorporated into proper walks with other dogs. We guarantee your puppy will have a fantastic time and it leaves you guilt free, knowing your s/he’s having fun.

If you’ve just got a puppy, but still have to go to work, then we’re here to help. One our experienced pet carers in the Sevenoaks area can come and visit your puppy in your home and can help make this particular period a lot easier for you and your puppy.
In the period before your puppy’s able to go out for walks we can provide 1 hour home visits.

As your puppy grows, s/he can then be incorporated into proper walks with other dogs. Your dog will have a great time, and you won’t feel guilty being at work!
