Jo ‘s walks are carried out in beautiful Greenwich Park where the dogs can enjoy on or off lead walks in a safe and secure environment with plenty of interesting sniffs and smells.

Safety is our number one priority so we make sure that group sizes do not exceed 4 dogs at any one time and your dog will only be allowed off the lead with your express permission and once Jo is confident that he/ she is familiar with her and will return when called. In addition we require all dogs in our care to either have a microchip or tag.

Dog boarding is a great alternative to kennels and your dog becomes like a member of a new family with all the comforts of home. Your dog will be happy and secure and get all the exercise and love and attention they’re used to.

Our cat feeding and pet sitting service means that rather than taking your pets to a cattery or kennels we visit your pets in their own home. This is most suitable for cats and small animals as cats in particular hate leaving their own territory, so cat sitting means they’re not disrupted and are much happier and relaxed on your return.

Our local walker is Theresa who is very experienced and has a great time with all of her dogs. Where do we walk?

All our walks are carried out in parks and woodland where dogs can be walked safely on and off the lead. We look for places that come rain or shine will provide interesting and energetic walks for your dog with plenty of sniff and smells to keep them entertained. We also look to vary the walks on a daily basis to provide variety and stimulation.

Some of the places we walk include Danson Park, Joydens Wood, Avery Hill Park and Foots Cray Meadows.

Safety is our number one priority

At Happy Hounds & Cooler Cats safety is at the centre of everything we do.

We walk a maximum of 4 dogs together at any one time and we will only walk your dog off the lead with your express permission and when Theresa is confident the he or she is familiar with her and will return when called. We look to walk in areas and at times which minimise the interaction with other groups of dogs , this way your dog can have a great time while being safely monitored by their dog walker.

We also ask that all dogs are either micro chipped or wear a collar and tag at all times.

Dog walker required for Tunbridge Wells

We are currently recruiting for a dog walker for Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area.

We are looking for someone who lives in the local area and is available Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm and occasionally at weekends.

You will walk several dogs each day, either in pack walks or one to one. Availability for additional dog boarding would be preferable. You must be friendly energetic and above all a big animal lover!

A full driving licence and car is essential as you will be required to pick up dogs from their homes and a CRB or police verification check will also be required.

Here at Happy Hounds we have been providing dog walking in East London for over 12 years. Our friendly and experienced dog walkers can offer your dog energetic and interesting walks in local forest and parkland.

Our team of dog walkers is currently made up of Layla, Grace, Kerri, Kim and Amanda. They all have loads of experience and they have chosen to leave the rat race in order to do something they love.

Each of the girls are responsible for their own group of dogs and as the majority of our clients have been with us for a number of years the girls know them and their dogs really well and the dogs really look forward to catching up with their furry friends each day.

We will never walk your dog on the streets unless you specifically request it. We also regularly rotate the locations so your dog gets plenty of variety.

Cat sitting in Sevenoaks

Established in 1999 Happy Hounds & Cooler Cats offer a friendly and reliable cat sitting service to clients in Sevenoaks and the surrounding area.

Instead of taking your cat to a cattery let one of our pet carers come and visit them in their own home. Cat’s are notoriously territorial and hate to be away from familiar surroundings so cat sitting means they will be much happier and contented while you are away.

Our professional and friendly pet carers will discuss with you your cats feeding regime and will endeavour to keep to their usual routine as much as possible. All our pet carers are fully trained by us and are able to give basic medication if required and will of course spend some time playing with your cat and giving lots of strokes should they be willing.

We recommend either 1 visit or 2 visits per day, generally 1 visit is fine unless your cat needs medication or just a little extra attention.

Piece of mind while your away.

An added benefit of using our cat sitting service is that we can keep an eye on your home while your away. We are happy to bring in the post, do basic plant watering and in winter we can turn the heating on and off to make sure your pipes don’t freeze. In addition we can open and close curtains and turn lights on and off, making your house looked lived in, giving you piece of mind while your away. Finally we will always make sure there is a fresh pint of milk waiting for you for that all important cup of tea or coffee.

We can look after other pets too.

In addition to cats we are happy to visit other small animals as well. In the past we have visited rabbits, hamsters, rats, snakes, reptiles, chickens and even the occasional goat.

However in our experience pet sitting is not really suitable for dogs as they miss the company of people too much. If you need your dog to be looked after you could consider our dog boarding service, where your dog will stay with one of our boarders in a home from home environment. However if you have cats, dogs and other animals then our house sitting service may be more appropriate, where someone will live at your home and care for all your animals giving you total piece of mind while your away.
