Here at Happy Hounds we are always looking for responsible dog boarders, doggy day carers and house sitters, particularly with the holidays approaching.
Whether you are a freelancer with some spare time, you work from home, are a fit and able retired person or are just looking for some part-time work this could be just what you need.
Dog boarding works in the following way – one or two dogs would live with you as if they were your family pet(s). The aim is to provide care when the owner is unable to do so. Experience with dogs is essential as is a secure garden, but most of all we are looking for people who are friendly, energetic and genuine dog lovers!
Doggy day care
Doggy day care is similar to dog boarding but involves having the dogs only during the day while the owner is at work. Ideally you will have a car so you can collect the dogs around 9.30am and drop them home in the evening around 4.30pm. A CRB check would be required for this type of work, however this is something we can arrange on your behalf.
House sitting is where you stay at a clients home while they are away. You would care for any pets they may have as well as small jobs round the house such as plant watering. You must be conscientious, reliable and trustworthy as well as being a genuine animal lover! A CRB check would be required for this type of work, however this is something we can arrange on your behalf.
We are a really friendly company to work for and the majority of our our pet carers have been with us for many years. All of our pet carers are self employed so you are free to do as little or as much work as you wish. We have very competitive rates of pay and you will always have the opportunity to meet the dogs or visit the house you will be staying in prior to accepting any jobs.
If you would like to find out more please send us your CV along with details of your availability and what type of work you are interested in to email@example.com . Alternatively give us a call on 0845 634 4800 or 07957 585 175.
We would love to hear from you!
